Notice of Non-Lawyer Disclosure
John Pignone Reed, d/b/a Dunedin Mobile Notary is a Florida Commissioned Notary Service. (Referred hereinafter as, “our business”). Our business is not a law firm and is not acting as your lawyer or providing you with legal advice, legal representation, or advocacy of any kind. There is no attorney-client relationship created or inferred.
Please note A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government —typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. These official acts are called notarizations, or notarial acts. Notaries are publicly commissioned as “ministerial” officials, meaning that they are expected to follow written rules without the exercise of significant personal discretion, as would otherwise be the case with a “judicial” official.
This website and the services offered by our business are not a substitute for the services of an attorney. You are using this website at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss, claim, liability, injury or damage related to your use of this website or any other website linked to it. Our business and/or this website does not offer any guarantees or warranties.
Legal matters and/or the preparation of forms and documents often require the services of an attorney, not a Notary Public. We are available to execute a document requiring Notarization only. If you need specific legal advice, we urge you to visit Florida Bar’s Attorney Referral Service at your request.
Continued use of this website means you are not seeking or expecting legal advice from our business. Legal advice will never be provided by anyone at our business. If you are seeking legal advice or legal representation, leave this website immediately and contact a licensed attorney.
RECOMMENDED READING: The Florida Bar has published a consumer information pamphlet titled: Hiring The Right Person to Help me With My Legal Problems. This pamphlet discusses problems you can encounter by using a nonlawer instead of a licensed attorney, and it explains why Document Preparers working with the general public are not permitted to use the title of “Paralegal”, unless they are supervised by a licensed Florida attorney who is responsible for their work.
